  • Snow on the Hills

    Lots of cool weather on the slate for the next few days. That big low in Alaska is sending a front our way tonight. Forecast is just for general cloudiness… I dunno… I’m hoping for snow… and I see a little bit of moisture in the satellite image, so who knows.

There’s another low out in the Pacific “intensifying” and headed Gulf of Alaska way that will bring hurricane force winds to regions close to it.     So even though a warning wasn’t posted for us, we got 60kph winds this morning around 4AM… which is warning worthy… so this Storm is now christened Yarco! How much snow did you see? Didn’t last long here but i’m sure the skihills are excited. Update: I got this message today about the lightning storm…

    So we’re supposed to get (actually should already be, according to the Satellite) a bunch of rain and some wind tonight and tomorrow. Maybe we should start naming our storms?   • A Break Between Storms
