Mostly dry Sunday – Rain sweeps in Monday
Sunday ok. Even through the clouds are still a little menacing this morning we should be mostly dry Sunday (especially compared to LAST Sunday). It will still cool and partly cloudy though. Chance of Thundershowers diminished.
Probably no thunder and lightning. A quick update to point out that the model this morning has less chance of Thundershowers today and this evening that previous models had suggested. There is some thunder off the West Coast and around Gold River but other than that, it’s quiet on the South Island. We’ll see what…

Scattered rain, possible thundershowers next few days.
Starts Thursday Afternoon. Here’s the forecast for this morning between 8-11AM. The radar doesn’t show any moisture in the area yet, but it will likely pop up soon. Showers won’t last long in the low lands as most of the moisture will pull back up into the hills by the afternoon. We should see sunshine…
