ALERT: See Comet Pannstars tonight!

Get out your Binoculars and Telescopes! The Sky is clear and there might be a comet sighting!

If you haven’t already heard, there is a very rare (possibly only time ever) comet passing nearby and we are going to be able to see it as soon as tonight.

I say might because the comet is going to start low on the horizon at Sunset, so we might not be able to see it tonight due to the Beauforts, but given the beautiful clear skies it’s worth a shot!

You will want to look for it, just south of where the Sun sets, tonight about 25min after sunset which would make it around 6:40PM.

This is what it looked like in Australia over the past few weeks. It’s now making its way to our side of the planet.
