It might not look like it at this early time in the morning, but the sun is coming.
Summary:
The fog and cloud hanging around this morning will clear and we should get up to 21° C this afternoon, and that is just the beginning. After possible morning fog we will get warmer Saturday (24° C) and Sunday (24° C) and into Monday. It doesn’t look quite as warm on the UWash maps as Environment Canada is predicting, but still pretty pleasant. There may be a chance for evening showers each day.
Details:
This chart is a 3 day chart showing the accumulation of rain over the 3 days from Friday morning to Monday morning.
As you can see, what little rain is supposed to fall should be confined to the mountains.
What might be more of a bummer could be fog in the morning. So will we get any fog? Let’s look at the humidity charts for Saturday and Sunday mornings and afternoons.
Saturday:
The first pair for Saturday shows the lowest humidity both at 8AM in the morning, and at 2PM in the afternoon. This will be our best chance for a fog free day, though I wouldn’t be surprised if we still got a little low cloud Saturday morning.
Sunday definitely looks a little more damp in the morning, notice the deep blue out Barkley Sound which likely means a good fog bank out there. In the Valley we will likely have fog in the morning and it should burn off before noon but it definitely won’t feel as hot Sunday afternoon as it does Saturday.
Have a great weekend!
