The next week is quite cool and cloudy compared to what we have had over the past while and that includes the May Long Weekend.
Here is a first look at the long weekend day by day.
Friday:
Friday is cool in the afternoon but the 24hour rain chart shows it might be the soggiest. Get that tent and tarp up quick. 🙂
Saturday:
Saturday will be the warmest day with hopefully temperature into the high teens. Rain is concentrated on the East and South side of the Island. West Coast and Alberni looks good wih just a little drizzle.
Sunday:
Sunday is cooler but mostly dry with just some drizzle. Good campfire weather.
Monday (morning)
Monday morning will be chilly. Hopefully the rain stays away.
That’s it for now. I will have another post on Wednesday for a closer look at the weekend but for now, plan to pack more warm clothes than bathing suits. But hey, kids will swim in the lake no matter what. 🙂
