The models indicate this will continue most of the day and possibly intensify this evening, but while we might hear some rumbles in the Alberni Inlet, the activity should be confined to the West Coast of the Island.
Here is this mornings lightning activity forecast before 5AM.
And here it is this evening 5-8PM
What we are more likely to get all day is rain. Mostly in the 11AM-2PM timeframe.
It should dry out a bit on Saturday morning and we might even get some sunny breakson Saturday before another system moves in on Saturday night.
It will rain all day Sunday.
