It is currently -9.9ºC out at the Airport and -4.1ºC at Alberniweather! BRRR.
Thankfully, the roads are well salted. I had no issues going over the hump or driving in town this morning as long as I kept away from the frozen snow on the sides.
In Coombs, Qualicum and Parksville and now Nanaimo there have been some snow squalls affecting the area with a dusting overnight. It was still snowing in Errington an hour ago and there are reports from the Hammond Bay area of Nanaimo right now of snow falling there. If you are driving to the East side today, watch for snow.
Very cold air and some convergence producing small cumulus and low density flurries over the strait this am #YVR. Below the radar.
