The gusty winds last night blew in some clouds and possible showers today.
However, the models indicate the showers should stay confined to the Ash River Valley and move down along the Beauforts and Mt. Arrowsmith.
Here is the hourly progression starting this morning (Wednesday) at 11AM-12PM.
It will start as a band of showers far down the Valley.
It then moves along the Beauforts toward the South.
And it ends up along Mt. Arrowsmith.
No precipitation is forecast for Port Alberni but we may see some very little drizzle or showers as the clouds move through.
After today, the heat builds back in.
It will be muggy Thursday with a high of 26°C but it will feel like 29 or 30.
Friday should be 29-30, Saturday over 30 for sure, Sunday likely 30 and Monday near 30.
Contrary to popular legend, it doesn’t Always rain for Salmon Derby!
Have a great Wednesday.
