Environment Canada is calling for snow this morning turning to rain in the afternoon. The UWash model agrees and goes a little further on the rain front, predicting snow only for higher elevations.
Showers or flurries will be light at best anyway so I don’t expect a lot of concern from today’s precipitation.
Wednesday and Thursday look dry, though we might see fog in the Alberni Valley.
On Friday precipitation returns with a new system starting overnight and into Friday morning. Because it is starting in the cool of the morning we could wake up to snow flurries or even snow on the ground Friday morning.
However again, the model has the majority of the snow sticking only at higher elevation. So I would only expect rain or sleet at lower elevations. Still no fun to drive in.
That’s it for this morning! I hope everyone had a lovely Family day! Happy Tuesday.
