Showers Monday – Variable Week

Showers Monday – Variable Week

It’s pretty clear our weather is changing today.

Expect light showers to start tonight before midnight. There might be some flurries at higher level but there is no chance of snow in town.

Showers will be off and on into the morning. The best likelihood for stronger showers during the day looks to be near 10AM and through the afternoon.

Totals around 8-16mm

Rain Scale – Millimeters on top, centi-inches on bottom. (1024cin = 10 inches)

Totals for the 5AM Monday to 5AM Tuesday period should be up to 16mm in Port Alberni, the West Coast and Nanaimo. Less in other areas.

There might be some lingering showers Tuesday morning but for the most part Tuesday and Wednesday should stay dry and we should see some sun and warm temperatures before rain returns on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Please Stay Home

Happy Sunday, and please, stay home and follow the directions of public health authorities. If you would like to help out in Port Alberni and around the Island, check out Beacon Buddies.
