It’s going to snow overnight tonight and into tomorrrow… looks like we can expect the heaviest early to mid morning.
Just in time! I was almost able to turn left into my driveway again!

You must be excited about it Chris, you posted under hot LOL
Well, it was coming down fairly good in small flakes at the Harbour Quay about an hour ago.. went for a donut and took a peek at CAC’s heli-show on the other side.
We also have some very light snowfall in Ukee. Starting to stick a little too. Had some sizable flakes earlier this afternoon as well.
Have about 3cm here right now and it’s still snowing.
Chris,
Being in Port over Christmas thru past New years and seeing how your roads are handled -snow wise – amazed me !!! Plowing to the middle I’d never seen in my life !! it’s crazy.
Looking forward to being in Port again for spring break — Hope the snows all gone by then..
Oh Chris by the way the BC Highway Cam link on you page needs to be updated – it’s changed.
Ya… normally plowing to the middle is a good idea when you get heavy rain right after most snowfalls making all the drains plug up and flood everywhere… but this year has been more than a little different 🙂
Oh and I just updated the Highway links… for some reason the last time you mentioned it I thought you were talking about the link on the image not in the menubar… duh! 🙂
re the centre piling of the snow. It keeps all the crazy drivers away from each other—–mind you it is entertaining at the intersections! Actualy we’ve been doing this since the 50’s and then you couldn’t see over the top of the rows. Yep, that rain sure helps!
