A lot of the fun of weather geeking, I find, is just trying to watch stuff come… so here’s something to watch.
There’s another low out in the Pacific “intensifying” and headed Gulf of Alaska way that will bring hurricane force winds to regions close to it. The High Seas Forecast (under Forecast–>Marine) predicts it to be at Queen Charlottes Latitude by Tuesday. We should see some weather from it by Wednesday or Thursday I figure.
You can see it’s pattern developing in the charts (under “Weather Charts”) for the 48hr time period… but in the 96hr it is strangely completely gone. I don’t understand why… guess we’ll just have to see. We may get some snow tomorrow night!
