Dry, but mild

The ridge of high pressure out in the Pacific seems to be strengthening a bit even if it’s not quite shifting our way to deliver us a ton of heat. It should keep us reasonably dry. The GFS model run at weatheronline.uk is calling for 20-25C temperatures with a chance of showers around the 6th/7th/8th of August.

I hate to be a downer Chris, but the latest weekly long range outlook from Brett Anderson at Accuweather is pretty unimpressive for those of us who love a hot summer.  I don’t remember a summer like this since about 1975, in the Okanagan when I bought my first motorcycle!
