Beautiful weather continues – November drying out.

Is it November?

beautymorning!

I don’t know, but it sure doesn’t seem like it. Here we were expecting some more storms to roll in by next week and give us some familiar november rain, but instead it looks like the High that has kept us cold is going to stick around and at least keep us dry.

It’s crazy to think right now after 3 days of record cold, but the models are still indicating we could have some very warm air for a brief few hours on Sunday.

That 12C line is still creeping up the Inlet onto the south island. It should be cloudy Sunday, but it might just be very nice and warm. We’ll see what we get.

Have a great weekend all. Enjoy the dry weather, there is no rain in the models right up to the 29th!

In response to Paqqj in the comments. Here is the surface temperature profile. The model does actually have 56F (13C) temps reaching to the head of the Inlet. You’re right we might be stuck in an inversion. We’ll see! 🙂
