Quite the storm!
A short update for the weekend as we clean up after what was a dramatic storm on Wednesday night! Thunder, lightning, and strong winds gusting to 77kph!
That’s the strongest wind gust of 2020 at my station as you can see on the Yearly Almanac pages.
We haven’t had wind that strong since the beginning of February.
Sunny days ahead
It should stay sunny and cool right through the weekend with fog in the mornings. There is a chance of some showers on Monday but nothing serious until about Wednesday when another system will move through.
Have a very nice weekend!

Thanks Chris for your weather forecasts!
Born and raised in the Italian Alps…it is always so amusing to read
what “Islanders” consider as “heavy storms, heavy rainfalls, thunder and snowfalls…”
(Less than half a piece of cake over there…even hard to die atheists start to pray in heavy weather)
Ha! Yes, we are blessed with very mild versions of “severe” weather around here!
Thank you for coming by!
