Perfect Week! – Great Clouds Timelapse

It is going to be a spectacular week!

Sun every day, and it will be hot a few of those days. Looks like Wednesday, Thursday, Friday will be the peak heat days. I wouldn’t be surprised if we got into the low 30s at least one of those days even though for now they’re only predicting 29 as the top max on Thursday.

Yesterday (Sunday) was one of those days that had it all. Reports of rain from Beaver Creek and Cherry Creek in the morning, lots of clouds and partial sun all day and wind.

It all made for an awesome cloudscape and very entertaining timelapse yesterday. So here it is:

If you can’t see the video above you should strongly consider updating your web browser to the latest version. Firefox, Apple’s Safari, Google’s Chrome, or Microsoft Internet Explorer 9 will all play it well (though if you’re on Chrome, you may need to right click on the video to start the playback, the controls may be finicky)

Or you can see all of the past timelapses on Youtube at http://www.youtube.com/user/alberniweather or by browsing through my webcam archives.

You were right the other day – EC has come around to a better forecast!
I have IE 9 & Quicktime but I could not see your video.  There is no link in the first space and the Quicktime link takes me to an Error 404 message.

Weird, what is the URL that the link is taking you?  It should be ok?
