The SunCast is only a memory now. What we have in store for us for the Thanksgiving Long Weekend is nothing short of a good old fashioned fall rain and wind storm.
Woopee!
From Thursday night to Saturday night we should get a moderate 40mm of rain. The heaviest looks like it will over Friday night and very early Saturday morning.
The more significant pulse of rain will start Saturday night and last into Sunday morning… around 60-70mm is on tap for that period which with the previous days soaking, might lead to some flooded basements so make sure your perimeter drains are clear.
There should be a bunch of wind that comes with the 2nd pulse of rain on Saturday night, nothing too major, likely similar to what we had a couple weekends ago.
This weather will likely pull down a lot of the leaves in the trees, so it would be nice to do your neighbours and the city crews a service and keep the street drains clear.
Stay Safe, Enjoy the Weather, and a very happy Thanksgiving to All.

Hey Chris, can I expect a stormy night? Please?
Lots of rain tonight but probably not too much wind until tomorrow. Tomorrow should be the bigger one.
Have fun! 🙂
Only 20 mm rain in the past 24 hours – I expected more. More coming though.
