The boffins at University of Washington have worked out the initial bugs and returned to the expanded high resolution forecasts. The message for the weekend? Grab an umbrella, or stoke up the (seasoned, dry) wood on the fire. It will be wet.
Friday won’t be bad. Only a chance of a shower in the 2-3PM hour.
The rain will really start around midnight tonight and last through the morning on Saturday. Shifting back to showers after noon on Saturday.
Another strong bout of rain will start overnight Saturday, ease of on Sunday morning and then return Sunday afternoon and evening.
Here are the 24 hour totals for our area between 4PM Friday and 4PM Saturday and the same Saturday/Sunday. Both are in the blue up to 16mm range with Sunday being more intense.
