It has been a pretty beautiful week overall. So beautiful in fact that we broke a record at the Airport for February 25. The old record was set in 2008 at 12.5°C. We reached 14.5°C officially at the Airport and over 15° here in the city.
We will fond out next week when I do the monthly summary whether it broke anything more long term.
Rain on the way
Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. We should see some rain move in between 7AM and 10AM this morning according to the UWash models.
It will last through out the day and stop around midnight tonight as you can see above.
24hr totals to Saturday morning are in the modest “blue” 16mm range.
Saturday should be OK with some sun and clouds mixed together.
However, another slighhtly more vigorous system will move in Sunday morning.
It will stick around for through the whole day Sunday and deliver between 15-30mm of rain.
Monday looks pretty good but the rest of next week is pretty soggy. Spring!
Happy Friday all! 🙂
