The next few days will continue to be pretty nice. Should stay cool, sunny and a little breezy. Pretty typical February weather. Our one little patch of snowdrops have appeared in our yard, and I’ve noticed a few crocuses as well. Getting to be a nice time of year.
On Friday we will receive a band of rain from the Pacific. It is unlikely, but possible that we might get a little snow before turning to rain later in the day. We’ll see. The weekend unfortunately looks more wet.

And I was hoping for a semi-dry weekend! We are planning on camping this weekend, but if the forecast is for rain, we might have to reconsider!
I was watching one of the Seattle channels last night fir weather and he said that El Nina was back starting this weekend with rain some wind and lots of mountain snow for awhile. He also said that the models show lowland snow in about a week and a half. What do you know about this Chris?
I think he’s right. Looking at the GFS we might expect some snow happening in about 10 days from now.
Mark Madryga was talking about it this morning as well on CKNW… and looking at the long range GFS, it makes next Saturday look very very….. interesting.
I’ll put a post up on it later today or tonight 🙂
