Mother Nature is no stranger to irony and poor timing. My kids are off to Rathtrevor today with the rest of Alberni Elementary School but unfortunately this may be the coolest and wettest day of the month! Highs will be up to around 18-20°. Showers will begin before 9AM in Port Alberni and before 10AM in Parksville. The good news is we desperately need the rain and at least it will remain pleasantly warm. Also, if the sun does break out, it will likely make for a much warmer time than forecast. So no worries.
