Stickin’ to my Sun Guns 😀

I nearly gave in on the weekend and changed “my” forecast (which was really just “their” forecast of a few days ago :)) to their rather drab cloudy cloudy cloudy forecast for the week.

But I held true and stuck to the sun and lo-and-behold, there it is this morning poking through the clouds and on tap for the rest of the week.

Just goes to show, sometimes being lazy can really make you look smarter! 😀

Happy Monday.

Oh hey, success on the weekend! I wired up my shed and the solar panel. I just need to finish a little paperwork before I can get things going. Soon!

I think you are right Chris, but it looks like we may be setting up for a good drenching on the Thanksgiving weekend!

Something’s brewing west of us – I know it. Watched 5 Canadian fishboats up and run for daylight early this morning! They don’t usually run en masse ‘less there’s some major weather coming in.

Bill: Yes And if I didn’t know better I might think there’s a possibility for *gulp* frost next week?

Mike: There doesn’t seem to be anything coming on the High Seas Forecast.. but maybe they’re looking at something different than I know.

There is certainly a good chunk of rain headed our way in the next week and beyond (100mm this weekend another 100 next)

Chris: Yeah dunno. We get our “at work” weather directly from EC, and some from NWS. So not sure what the deal was. Last night 3 boats left Ukee heading WNW, and right now there’ 1 just off Barkley Sound. Thinking those 5 the other night might’ve had full holds, or just said F&*^ it, no fish, and headed for the barn. Who knows.

F*(&^ It no Fish sounds quite plausible… I know my dad and his buddies had days like that! 🙂

Yeah, we got the charge on back out to the grounds now. So who knows. I see the news was talking about the possibility of a cold and wet (or white) winter this year. Should be interesting.
