Friday we should get *some* wind. They’re calling for 90-110kph on the West Coast but only up to 60kph for us. The little voice inside me hopes for a little more than that tomorrow, but I doubt it as it’s a front rather than a big low coming across.
We’ll see what happens. If you get severe weather in your area don’t hesitate to post a comment.
And if you haven’t got in on the Snow Pool yet, Go here and register your guess in the comments. Prizes yet to be determined. ๐

Sustained 65knots (120kph) gusting to 73knots at 8AM at Sartine Island off of Cape Scott this morning.
A little less at Solander Isl… currently around 30knots in Tofino.
We’ll see if and when the wind comes down here.
Well that “storm” was certainly a disappointment. We went for a drive on Friday to look at the waves, but it was foggy at Long Beach. While it was windy, it certainly wasn’t what I would call a severe storm.
Ya we didn’t get much… only up to 50kph and only for about 10 minutes ๐
I’m sure we’ll get ours eventually. Looks like a chance of some snow this week though!
Hey Chris – are you keeping track of who has what days ??? — Should be a calendar with marked off days someplace
Ya I’ve already done that so that I can keep track easily… but for others, they’ll just have to keep track according to that thread.
Put me down for Dec 13 in the snow pool. If it doesn’t snow on the 13th, we won’t see any until January.;)
O.K. sseing as how you two can so predict the weather…..I do, as an extreme weather addict love to hear the word snow……rather hear and see wind.Thank you for updates though.
I so look forward to your updates Chris.
Sorry Tek, Dec 13 is already taken. ๐
Go to the Snow Pool post here and you’ll see all the others.
