The warm temperatures are going to stick around, but the sun is done for at least a few days.
We are looking first at a one two punch this evening, first by a weak frontal blob (technical term) around sundown, and then a stronger front with rain going through around midnight and into the early morning of Friday.
Here are the blobs as they approach this evening.
Here is the total rainfall we should expect. Blue is up to 16mm.
The rain should end by around 7AM Friday morning, but some showers may linger through the day after the front passes through. It might clear up a bit Friday afternoon and evening.
The rest will be short lived.
Starting 7AM Saturday morning a stronger and slower system will move in giving us rain straight through Saturday not stopping until around Midnight on Sunday.
The totals below up to Sunday morning are up to 32mm.
That won’t be the end of the showers though as there will be significant showers lingering through much of the day Sunday. It looks like it won’t finally dry out completely until late Sunday night.
Monday and Tuesday look OK but Wednesday next week might see rain too.
It’s definitely spring, a little bit of everything!
