Sure would be a welcome change for a few days. There is plenty of cloud in the forecast but not a whole lot of moisture until Monday. It depends how far the front to the south of us reaches up here. Hopefully we’ll get enough to at least take the fire danger down a notch to High from Extreme in the Valley.
I was interviewed by Shaw a couple days ago, you should be able to see me on Shaw TV starting today or tomorrow on the Daily. Don’t laugh too much! 😀

Definitely has a fall feel to the air this morning.
Will we get rain? Hah! It sprinkled enough here to make me put the canvas back on my Geo Tracker, then it stopped. Go figure eh?
Ya there were a few drops on the car this morning and that’s it. The garden certainly didn’t feel it. Might get a little tomorrow or Monday. We’ll see!
Well it rained overnight enough to wake me up, but the ground is dry this morning. According to http://www.ready.noaa.gov/ready/cmet.html
we could get up to 24mm overnight though.
That would sure be nice, my parents said they heard rain at their place on Kitsuksis as well, but we didn’t record anything here.
Same here… enough to wet everything and give the impression of possible cloudburst, but that was it. I may have to trickle some water into my rain gauge just to prove to myself that it still works!
Well we got some rain here. 3mm yesterday, and so far 1mm today, and the computer is showing 2mm/hr rate. So you valley types may be in luck yet!
Cheers!
Chris, are you sure your station only has 2.79mm of rain as of 13:31? I nearly have half an inch already…
Ya, there is something strange going on here… as I’m reporting 2.7 on the website but the rwa feed I’m sending to islandweather is reporting 11mm so far.
I’ll have to take a look at it tonight.

Ah, I see why… my database updates have been interrupted by Aladdin. (The Disney Movie)
Sorry folks! It will be back shortly.
Ahh, so it was something magical going on there… heheh 😉
